Meet The Team

Kevin Hannigan
Chief Executive Officer
Kevin oversees all aspects of ACC operations. He defines business development strategy and company initiatives for customer solutions, as well as sets goals for ACC’s development and market focus.

Michael Stephens
Senior Vice President Business Development and Marketing
Mike brings a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise to ACC as Senior Vice President Business Development and Marketing. With a deep understanding of digital transformation and its impact on businesses, Mike is responsible for leading the digital transformation and marketing departments, as well as helping develop the company’s corporate messaging.

Arlene Weichert
Executive Vice President of Sales
Arlene develops target markets and geographies, develops sales resources, and furthers the market awareness of ACC and its capabilities. “Throughout our history, customers have always come first at ACC. During this time of growth and expanded capabilities, it’s still true.”

Ray Cardonne
Chief Financial Officer
Ray is responsible for all of ACC’s financial activities and providing business and operational analysis and strategic insight for ACC’s organic and inorganic growth strategies.

Chris Monchinski
Vice President of Manufacturing Intelligence
Chris spearheads ACC’s manufacturing intelligence practice, providing leadership and guidance on initiatives involving Control-to-Enterprise integration, paperless records, and MES applications. He has significant experience with a wide variety of technology including various automation platforms, databases, and communication protocols.

Brian Allgaier
Senior Vice President of Operations
Brian leads ACC’s IT4OT organization which includes the OP/Station industrial workstation product line and the FYI Technology delivery arm. Brian’s team delivers infrastructure solutions to help position manufacturing and utility organizations for secure automation and digitization.

Guru Thakkar
Director of Engineering
Guru leads ACC's Automation & Control teams. Guru and his teams deliver timely solutions with latest technology platforms and innovative approach. Guru drives strategic initiatives within the A&C department for continued improvements and newer offerings.

Toni L Scarito
Director of Human Resources
Toni Scarito is responsible for the development and execution of the human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of ACC, specifically in areas of talent management; succession planning; employee communications; change management; organizational and performance management; training and development, and compensation, and providing strategic leadership by articulating HR needs and plans to senior management team.

Our History
Robert J. Tomasetta founded Automated Control Concepts Inc. (ACC) in January 1983. To start ACC, Bob left the confines of the General Electric Programmable Logic Controller business to open ACC’s first office in Union, New Jersey, focused on programming those then very “mysterious” programmable controller devices. Today, ACC has grown to become a much-admired company having successfully executed projects in many industries and applications on five continents
ACC founded by Robert J. Tomasetta, our first office was based in Union, NJ.
ACC relocated to Neptune, NJ, while ACC has expanded its footprint over the years, it has remained at the same address and has the same phone number it did from the start.
ACC develops OP/Station® product line – designed to protect computers in harsh environments, a business that still thrives.
ACC began its foray into the utility market developing our substation automation practice. We also expanded our activities in Manufacturing Information Technology and became a founding member of the ISA95 committee on Enterprise-to-Control System integration.
Office expanded to our current 15,000 square feet headquarters.
ACC expanded our reach into a wide array of infrastructure (water, transportation, utility_ and process industries. We also introduced two targeted products, processRecords® for workflow management and data collection and bioStation (currently Lab Owl®), a flexible bioreactor control solution.
ACC developed a significant practice in energy monitoring and facility automation – serving college campuses, hospitals, and industrial manufacturers.
Opened our Rockville, MD office
As the Life Science industry boomed, ACC worked with the growing industry, specifically in pharmaceutical and bioprocesses helping bring Smart Solutions to their changing processes.
Private equity investment firm, Sverica Capital Management LP, acquired a majority position in ACC.
Opened New England and South Atlantic Offices
